Cereal

Well, all I've been eating around here lately is Life cereal. It is incredibly delicious, however-particularly with fresh strawberries or blueberries and sometimes enjoyed in Trader Joe's vanilla soy milk. I guess our attempts at keeping our meals more interesting than cold cereal are currently failing-for me. And for James I think too. I'm certain Heather is having better success.

On a happier note, my Costa Rican friend made me gallo pinto (and a million other delicious Costa Rican foods). I could not have been happier. Gallo pinto is the traditional breakfast food in Costa Rica which is rice, black beans, cilantro, onion, perhaps red pepper if desired, cooked up all together and served with a cream called natilla which is somewhat similar to sour cream. It's really good, you should make it. Here's a recipe. At some point Costa Rica was taken captive by a company who makes this sauce called Salsa Lizano. They put it in EVERYTHING. I'm pretty sure the country would fall apart if the Lizano company stopped making their drug I mean sauce for the people.
